March 2012 Ducks United Curacao exists 1 year!!! On 1 March 2011 we have started with the Caribbean little sister of Ducks United Ibiza. The last year was a year in which we have tried show everyone on Curacao how nice it is to tour around the island in a Caribbean Duck. And although not everyone was persuaded directly, in the last year we have succeeded to show both locals and Dutch, American, Italian, German and even Norwegian tourists what a delicious (holiday-) experience it is to check out this wonderful island , comfortably balancing on the Curacao roads, with the roof opened completely, a nice bit of music and a (retro) cooler in the back with cold drinks for underway. With as result that we the previous period was really busy! All six ducks were rented out all the time the last few months. It was super to see all the duckies driving around the island every day. To celebrate our 1-one year old existence of course we have a special offer: Everyone who reserves a duck between 15 and 31 March 2012 for a rental period in June and/or July 2012 gets a 10% discount on the rental price and a sarong of Ducks United/Buddha to Buddha!!!

Dive & Drive Tour Driving a duck to the most beautiful bays and beaches of Curacao is wonderful, but enjoying the underwater world is at least as much fun…. So what is a better plan than to tour to one of the most beautiful dive spots on the island to make two dives from a small idyllic beach, guided by a dive master from DiveVersity, the dive school that works together with Ducks United Curacao! In the morning you leave from the dive school through the ‘kunuku’ to a little bay, that can hardly be reached by a ‘normal’ car. At this special spot you make your first dive of the day. After that it is time for a lovely picnic at the beach and of course to relax a bit or to snorkel. Than a second dive will be made. And after all these new impressions, you will get into your charming convertible for the way back, that will be o much fun that you will have a hard time saying goodbye to your ‘duck for the day’. October 2011 From this month on there is not only a grey ‘BuddhatoBuddha’ duck driving around the island, but you can also find a great white ‘Scotch&Soda’duck on Curacao!! Our partner Scotch & Soda found a very special way of sponsoring one of our ducks: They made a special ‘canvas’ hood, of course with the logo of this well-known label. In cooperation with Buddha to Buddha in our duckshop we now offer:
These items are not only great souvernirs of a wonderful’duck- time’ on Curacao, but also very handy during your stay on the island!
June 2011 The Duck Tour Curacao
From now on it is not only possible to rent a duck to drive around the island, you can also book a complete ‘One - Day - Duck Tour’! When you reserve a Duck Tour One of the ducks (original Citroen 2CVs) of Ducks United Curacao will be brought to any location on the island for you to start your own special ‘duck-day’. You will receive a detailed road map of Curacao and a suggested route to enjoy the beautiful nature and all kinds of different interesting spots on the island. When you go on a duck tour you automatically will become a Duck Member and you will receive a Duck Membership Card. With this card you will get some nice advantages and extras at the best hotspots on the island. These (and other) hotspots will be indicated on the roadmap, so these locations can easily be found. With the duck we will also deliver a ‘retro cooler’, a trendy metal cooler to keep your drinks fresh for the day. If you would like us to fill up the cooler for you, that will be possible. Also you can choose to order a picnic backpack with a nice lunch and a bottle of chilled wine for a private picnic on one of the beautiful beaches on the island. At the end of the day or the next morning if you can’t say good bye to your duck for the day (and the chance this happens is big!), the car will be picked up again. And of course you can keep the duck for more than one day if you like!!
May 2011 Duck Membership If you rent a duck at Ducks United Curacao you automatically become a ‘Duck Member’ and receive a ‘Duck Membership Card’ that offers all sorts of nice advantages at different ‘hotspots’ on the island.
At a few popular cafes you will get a free second drink, you can make use of a beach bed at one of the most beautiful beaches of Curacao, when taking a windsurfing lesson you can use the surfing equipment without paying for it, and at one of the hippest clubs you can relax on a free sunbed. And besides that all Duck Members get a 10% discount the next time(s) they rent a duck!

The story of the Dutch Ugly Duck that became a Beautiful Curacao ChiChi Duck… The last of the six Citroen 2CVs, that were imported from Holland by the cool car rental company Ducks United Curacao, is ready to be rented by the tourists (and the locals) on Curacao. It took a few weeks to make the last of the six nostalgic convertibles ready for rental, because it was being transformed from a Dutch Ugly Duck into a very special Beautiful Curacao ChiChi Duck! The ChiChi duck Artist Serena Janet Israel took care of one of the charming cars of Ducks United Curacao. The car has been painted by her in her colorful ChiChi-style from the edge of the folding roof to the hub-caps and the bumpers. ChiChi is the traditional nick-name for women from Curacao, mostly for the oldest daughter / sister in the family. Inspired by the Curacao ChiChis artist Serena developed the ChiChi-Artline. This colorful artline consists of images of ChiChis that are all unique in form and painting. With the exuberant colors Serena expresses the positive and cheerful outlook on life, with a serious undertone, as she often experiences in Curacao women. The special cooperation between Ducks United Curacao and Serena resulted in a very colorful and prominent ‘ChiChi Duck’, that will drive around on the Curacao roads from this week on.
